Hot, hot summer love XD
Jul. 17th, 2011 11:04 pmIt is so freaking hot. It has been hot all day. It is barely tolerable now, and it's finally, finally down to....*checks temp* 76 degrees at not-quite eleven at night. It is too hot for me to even think about sleeping. My brains are just racing around and around.
I've been working on that continuation/prequel of the My Fair Lady Saiyuki story. I haven't gotten too far with that story as a whole, but at least the back-of-the-car action has been drafted and they're almost at the point that would connect this piece and the one I've already done. (Also, I have two bitty scene-bits that come after everything thus far.) I want to bang things out (heh) and see if I can't get something posted tomorrow. Doing the math just now, I spent a cool seven and a half hours writing today. Damn do I feel good.
I feel like I've been cruising along this past week and have gotten my writing groove firmly established again. (It probably helps that I do the occasional bout of unabashed porn-writing.) I'm also looking at my rather spotty story updating with dismay. I want to write more stuff! I want to actually finish stories! ^_^ I'm debating which thing to work on next, besides the MFL!Saiyuki one. Maybe Visitors? I'm only one part away from completion on that. (Aside from a possible porntastic follow-up. I kind of can't resist the idea of farmer!Hakkai starring in a story I'd call "Plowing the Back Forty.")
...Did I also mention I'm playing Pokemon Red again? I am. It is completely addictive. But, the good thing is that I can play for ten or fifteen minutes at a time while I'm in between doing other stuff. I just can't play too soon before bed because it's too exciting. XD I close my eyes and I see pokemon!
Ugh. I have got to find some way to cool down before bed. *whine whine whine*
