Day 24 is a wash
Feb. 24th, 2012 10:46 pmI don't have a fancy story-full update for today. I swear, my days off from work are a zillion times busier than the days when I go in to the office.
I didn't do much for writing today, obviously. Instead, I printed a crapton of hard copies and put them in a new, bigger binder. (I outgrew the old one! Yay!) I like having hard copies fo my work for two reasons. One, in case of absolute computer catastrophe. Two, because when they're printed out, my reading of them isn't so prejudiced. I can pretend they're someone else's and actually enjoy reading them instead of nitpicking them to death. XD
So anyway, now that I have the hard copy, I'm going to read some of my current WIPs and see which might be good to work on. I have so many unfinished stories! It can be hard to choose which to work on, especially if it's something I haven't worked on in a while; the rereads definitely help me get back into the mood of a story.
Now, though, I just want to go to bed and sleep for a long, long time. We're in the middle of a nasty storm and sleet/ice is pelting the windows. I'm hoping the roads might be plowed by the time I get up. (Not that I'm planning to go anywhere because it's supposed to be sloppy, but it's somewhat unnerving to have impassable roads all around.)
