Less Sick....

I am thankfully less sick today than I was yesterday. I have plenty of tissues, cough drops, and I have a brand spanking new humidifier. I can really feel the difference in the room; before, I was getting horrible pains breathing in due to lack of moisture in the air. Now, I feel like a human being again. I'm working on a vapor directing shield, because the steam just kind of goes...up...and I'd like to have it falling onto my face when I go to bed. I think yesterday was the worst day of this cold, which is what I was hoping for. I should be in much better shape for the weekend! ^_^

While I'm feeling better, I should work on my homework. I have some writing to do for my copyediting class, and then I need to respond to other people's writing on the discussion board. (Woot for online classes! ^_^ Made my sick week a lot easier.) I also need to write/polish some poetry for my directed study. I'm going to to as much as I can tonight so I won't have to slave too hard tomorrow and Friday morning. At some point, I also need to pick up a book at the library. Maybe I should return some too? I have a large stack of books just sitting on my desk that I'm not reading.

I was thinking about getting a hat from caer_swan. I know, I've been thinking about that hat for a long time now. I don't own any hats at all, so it'd have to be a very special hat. I always think I look dumb in hats, but I really want one anyways. Maybe my hat could look all angry and put upon? (No pun intended.) If it were somehow angry looking, that might cheer me up and make me want to wear it. Or maybe it could look fierce? I'll have to think about it a bit more. I know she's really busy right now, and I don't want to make things even worse...
