Mer-Gojyo (9/?)
May. 3rd, 2010 06:36 pmHoly moley! It's been a while, hasn't it? I've had serious computer troubles. Also, I have moved from one residence to another in just under two weeks. Not bad, eh?
That being said, I'm attempting to plough forward and do more writing. Mer-Gojyo still has no title. I will also reiterate that this story is entirely in rough-draft. (Hahaha, so many mistakes and so much poor grammar and I'm too lazy/busy to fix it now...) I'm going to go ahead and up the rating to a PG-13 for creepiness and violence and mild language.
I suppose you could say we're getting into the meat of the story now. Kind of. Enjoy!

Post-story notes: Oh boy do I have plans for this! I have acres and acres of stuff already written out; it's just a matter of getting the pieces in the right order. (And there's a ton of stuff I haven't even written yet, even though I have vague ideas floating around for what will be happening overall.)
After being away from the story for a couple weeks, I said to myself: "Forget about another chapter of subtle foreshadowing! It's time for the revealing flashback!" I think this part fit in much better than I expected it to. Hooray for something going somewhat smoothly!
Anyway, I'm going to try to post more of this every couple weeks from here on out. I can't promise anything, really, what with real life being how it is, but I want to try to keep knocking out parts of this story because I like it and it inspires me and I think it's interesting. (Also, I have another story--not Saiyuki--that I'm trying to work on, and that one I've committed to a chapter a week. It came first, so it gets precedence over everything else. Mer-Gojyo is number two. And have I mentioned the AU Weiss that has reared its evil, evil head? I swear, as soon as I'm too busy to do writing projects properly, the ideas just come rolling in. -_-)
My brains are scrambled now.
