Long chapter...is long @_@
Apr. 8th, 2011 09:04 pmSo I've been virtuously laboring away on the next chapter of Visitors, and I'm considering breaking it into two parts, just so I can put up the first bit here and feel like I've done something. I'd put it back together for the official post on AO3, and I'd wait until both halves were done before I put it up anywhere on LJ. So far, I've got fourteen pages (rough draft,) and I still haven't come to the end of what I wanted to put into it! Every time I even think about it, it gets longer and longer...
Of course, that then begs the question of where/when in the chapter I might make such a break. Gah. I'm thinking I might also need to spin off a short piece, something totally unrelated, before I bog down too much more with this story. (Not that I'm bogged, precisely, but I keep getting ideas of things I could put in! ^_^) I've also mostly settled on not putting in much in the way of mansexings. Lots of UST, and maybe some implied action, but I'm just not feeling up for the deed itself. XD I know, so sad. I just don't think I'll be able to believably squeeze it in, not with what's been going on in the way of character interactions and plot and stuff. (I suppose I could come back and do some sort of porny postscript...)
Hmm. I should go and be industrious some more.
